GrammyPhone is designed to provide live captions while keeping your data private.
GrammyPhone uses your microphone and on-device speech recognition to generate live captions. The app does not record your conversations.
Audio and transcript content are processed locally on your device and are not sent to our servers.
GrammyPhone does not require an account and does not store transcript history on our servers. Any displayed transcript text is temporary in-app content.
Because GrammyPhone does not store your audio or transcripts on our servers, there is no server-side conversation history to delete. Transcript text is temporary and only shown in the app while it is running.
GrammyPhone does not include third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
GrammyPhone requests microphone and speech recognition permissions solely to provide live captions. You can change these permissions in iOS Settings at any time.
To revoke consent, disable Microphone and/or Speech Recognition access for GrammyPhone in: Settings > Privacy & Security.
